In relation to the declared Environment Week,
 Clean up the environment
 Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha organized a cleaning program focusing on Udawalawa town under the theme.
There were many public awareness programs related to environmental cleanliness, dengue control, removal of mandatory billboards, creation of a clean city through waste management.
